Went to see the Toulouse-Lautrec Exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia today. Toulouse-Lautrec’s artwork is really amazing, I urge any Aussie who hasn’t gone to the exhibit yet to go go go! I walked out of the Gallery inspired and with a head full of colourful ideas for artwork and music and… mmm I don’t know which one to do first!

Last Sunday I met up with my mum for lunch, so I thought I’d wear this cardigan, which used to belong to her when she was only 25. 25! This cardigan is older than me, and it’s still in amazing condition - the badge embroidery hasn’t even frayed yet. She recognised it immediately when she saw me, and she was so surprised to see that it’s still alive and not lost or in tatters. She told me where she bought it from, and of how she haggled with the shop assistant (“I’ll buy two - but gimme a big discount!”). She then asked me if I have the navy one too, but sadly I do not. I haven’t seen that navy one since I was about 10.
She was happy to see me wearing it that Sunday, and coincidentally at almost the same age as when she first bought it. And you know what? The fact that this belonged to her, and that I know what the history is, makes this piece of clothing the most precious garment I ever own.

This Victorian Maiden/Beth trench coat is definitely one of the best coats I’ve ever owned. The cut is so flattering, fits like a dream, and best of all: it stands quite well to the Canberra cold!
All dolled up and ready for the winter loli meet!
I was going to bring my Sugary Carnival to Sydney for EA to sell. I haven’t worn it at all since I received it last year (it’s still BNWT to this day!) so I thought I’d better sell it to someone who would love it as much as I do, but wear it more than I did. But I tried it on again tonight, and then I started to coordinate it, and then I couldn’t stop! Now I don’t think want to sell it anymore…..
Also now I’m lolified at 12am with nowhere to go but bed >_>
Wore my Vampire Requiem to Supanova on Saturday! This print is ultra beautiful, I really do need to wear it out more.
Some of the processed photos from yesterday’s shoot hooray! I don’t think I’ve ever worn OTT Sweet since… October 2010 I think!
